Grilled cheese and tomato soup

I love reading recipe blogs, so I figured I ought to start my own.  Except I’m really not all about fancy cooking.   So here is the first in my series of mediocre recipes.

Butter the bread

Add your cheese

Grill your sandwiches

Make or heat up your tomato soup

Eat!

This has got to be the easiest tomato soup recipe ever, but it’s yummy.

Tomato Bisque Soup

Ingredients:
3 (28 oz) cans crushed tomatoes
2 (14.5 oz) cans chicken broth
1 tablespoon sugar
1 cup whole milk or cream
1 cup of butter
1 clove of garlic

Directions:

In a large saucepan, bring the tomatoes and broth to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Add sugar. Reduce heat to low; stir in milk and butter. Cook until butter is melted.   Freezes well.
